Excerpts from Ruby's Life Story ~

Over the years we have lost many dear family and friends… This part of life is difficult, to lose those you love… I have watched many of our immediate family go through difficult health issues. It is so hard to see them have surgeries, health challenges, and illnesses. I always feel so helpless in what I can do to help them…

In writing my Life Story I have spent a lot of time talking about my family. This is what my life is all about.
— Ruby | Chapter 52, Page 474
I have so much love and respect for this wonderful man and all the things he taught me, as well as the example he was to all he met. I am so grateful for the devotion and love he had for the Lord, and for the way he honored his Priesthood… During that time [after Mom passed], I really learned just how much my father loved me. I never questioned whether he loved me, because mom would always say ‘We sure love you,’ speaking for her and dad, but I didn’t verbally hear it from him until mom was gone. I am so grateful that he is my dad.
— Ruby | Chapter 2, Page 19 My Dad, Crozier Rodney Kimball
I am so grateful for my mom. She was such an example of unselfishness, and love, and devotion to our Heavenly Father, and to her family. She loved dad so much. It was evidence of their love when she would put notes in his suitcase when he would travel, and in his lunch when he left for work. I love you so much mom and I sure miss your wonderful advice and counsel.

Go ahead… what do you remember?

How it works:
Simply write down any “Remember When…” memory — big or small — and share it here. Read what others have posted, and feel free to reply with “I remember that!” or “That reminds me of…”

Every memory you add becomes a spark that helps the rest of us remember even more.
